About Taylor and Related Families - from Abbott to Zelson
This site contains my family tree. Perhaps part of it is part of yours.
If so, we may be related, at least in some distant way. I have posted this
site in order to share information with those of you who may be researching
the same family lines. Please feel free to contact me if you want more
information. At present, the site contains the bare skeleton of a tree -
names, dates and places. In the coming weeks, I will be adding biographical
information and photographs. The names of living relatives are concealed to
protect their privacy. Thank you for your interest. I leave you with this
thought by British author C.S. Lewis (1898-1963):

"Human beings look separate because you see them walking about
separately. But then we are so made that we can see only the present moment.
If we could see the past, then of course it would look different. For there
was a time when every man was part of his mother, and (earlier still) part of
his father as well, and when they were part of his grandparents. If you could
see humanity spread through time, as God sees it, it would look like one single
growing thing - rather like a very complicated tree. Every individual would
appear connected with every other."

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthday and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
